Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 4, 2026
Tooler is designed to process files with minimal data retention. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how long it is kept.
1. Data we process
- Files you upload for processing
- Generated output files
- Basic request metadata (IP, timestamps, request path) for security and abuse prevention
2. How files are handled
- Files are used only to run the selected tool operation
- Temporary processing artifacts are not retained as user content
- Uploaded and generated files are automatically deleted on a rolling schedule
3. Retention
Tooler automatically purges processed job files after a short retention window. Do not rely on Tooler as long-term storage.
4. Security
We apply transport security, rate limiting, and workload isolation practices to reduce abuse and protect the service. No system can guarantee absolute security, but we continuously improve safeguards.
5. Cookies and advertising
Tooler uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:
- Analytics (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, session duration, device type). Google Analytics may set cookies on your device. You can opt out via Google's opt-out tool.
- Advertising (Google AdSense): We display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings.
- Essential cookies: Session cookies required for the site to function (e.g. CSRF protection). These are not used for tracking.
By continuing to use Tooler, you consent to the use of cookies as described above. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect site functionality.
6. Third-party services
Tooler relies on the following third-party providers strictly to operate and improve the service:
- Cloud hosting and object storage providers
- Google Analytics (usage analytics)
- Google AdSense (advertising)
- Error monitoring services
These providers operate under their own privacy policies and data processing terms.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data we hold, as well as the right to object to or restrict processing. Since Tooler does not require registration or collect personal accounts, most data we process is transient. For any request, contact us using the details below.
8. Contact
For privacy requests, contact the Tooler operator through the official channels linked on the main site.
